See the branchAt Külhane, the kitchen isn't behind a door — it's between the tables. Meat goes on the fire only after you order it, and you can watch every turn from where you're sitting. Ocakbaşı doesn't let the cook's work hide — the quality of the meal rests entirely on whoever is minding the fire.
There's a rhythm to it, too. The table opens with meze; the first skewer arrives while the second is still on the grill, and the evening stretches out slowly. This isn't a place to eat and run — give it an hour, and let the table build at its own pace.

We have two addresses, and neither is a copy of the other. The Aksu location runs a full ocakbaşı setup near the airport; the Muratpaşa location sits in the city centre, with live music and the character of a Turkish meyhane. Pick the evening you're in the mood for.

In an ocakbaşı, the one thing that decides the quality of the meal is who's running the fire. At our Aksu location, Yasin Demiris our ocakbaşı master, working the grill. On the meze side and the other end of the fire is Zehra Taş — our ocakbaşı and meze master.
All eight mezes come out of the same kitchen, by the same hands.
